The Nagarhole National Park, the hub for all the wonderful wilderness, is a much sought out tourist destination in Karnataka, placed in around 226 kms from Bengaluru, the state-capital.

Once a private hunting lodge for the Maharajas of Mysore, Nagarhole has a history as striking as its wildlife variety. The Nagarhole forest reserve rests on the banks of the river Kabini, one of the major tributaries of the scared river, Kaveri and hence gets the same fame.Today, it is a happy habitat for more than a hundred leopards, tigers, the majestic elephants, the Sloth bears, Indian Gaurs, various varieties of deers and more than 300 species of exotic birds spotted all throughout the year.

Nagarhole National Park proudly holds the record of being the safe home of Asia’s largest herd of elephants. Herds of elephants cross your path and to take such a close peek into this gallant giant gives you a sense of accomplishment and glory. Apart from this gentle hulk, one can also spot a wide varieties of deers, tigers and Sloth bears with the Sambar being the frequent visitor. The banks of the river Kabini and its mesmerising waters is also a tourist attraction which people eagerly look forward to witness.

Tour Itinerary

They often exclaim that happiness gets real only when shared or truly experienced. South Indian wildlife and the scents of their spirits just can’t wait to sing you their soul-filled songs, while you experience the purest form of nature there is. To rise this breathe taking adventure, a notch above, we at Mastodon Solstein, do our bit to ensure your little happy moments sync to perfection. Your South Indian Safari is a package tour of 2 nights and 3 days consisting of 4 Safaris.

DAY 1

Your most-awaited tour begins in (place) at the celebrated (airport/railway station) after which we travel by road for around 2-3 hours to reach the destination. Hot and steaming freshly prepared lunch will be served in the camp. After a heart-filling sumptuous lunch, we head to the Safari at around 3.30pm in the noon and experience the wild, till about 6.30pm in the evening. Beverages like Tea/coffee served after the Safari, Dinner served at night and the day is called off.

DAY 2

Early day, beginning at 5am in the morning with coffee/tea being served, followed by a morning Safari, basking under the just risen sun, at 6.30am. Safari ends at 9.30am as we head back to the camp for delicious breakfast and refreshments. Post breakfast, you could choose to power nap or bird watch around the camp. Lunch served at 1.30 pm in the noon following which, a Safari at 3.30pm, and back to camp at 6.30pm in the evening. Mid-evening refreshments; dinner at 8.30pm and the day ends.

DAY 3

Wake-up call at 5am, your final Safari with the South Indian wild stars, is scheduled between 6.30am to 9.30am. Back to camp for breakfast and check out at 11am. Thus, successfully completing your wildlife experience in the South Indian soil. (NOTE- Beverages like coffee and tea will be served before and after every Safari)

For Tourist destinations 100% is paid upfront.

In general, we do not give refunds for cancellations of tours, as our guides have specifically held their availability for a tour – we believe that their time is valuable. In the case of any health issues, travel delays or stormy weather, we will do our best to reschedule a tour.

For Tourist destinations

50% of the actual cost will be refunded if the cancelled 45 days prior to the travel date.

25% of the actual cost will be refunded if canceled 30 days prior to the travel date.

No refund will be given if canceled within 30 days.
