The Pench National Park undeniably stays true to the spirits of the above statement. Located in the districts of Seoni and Chhindwara of Madhya Pradesh, Pench national park is certainly an eye turner to all passionate wildlife lovers, where the serenity is simply intoxicating. Sprawling over a massive area of 758sq kms, it is a sophisticated shelter to over 40 tigers, (approx.), 39 species of mammals, 13 species of reptiles, 3 species of amphibians and over 210 varieties of birds including the migratory birds all through the year.The finest feature of the Pench has to be the best sightings of the Indian bison, Gaur.

Placed in the heart of the country,Madhya Pradesh,Pench is certainly no less than the heart throb of the state. The antiquity of the place and its timeless history, takes you back in time, within a few seconds of your entry into the national park. Named after the pristine river Pence, the National Park is divided into equal halves with the river paving its way through. The Penchhas inquisitive range of flora and fauna, commonly spotted wildlife include the chital, sambar, jungle cat, striped hyena, four-horned antelope and barking deer.

The exclusiveness of the Pench does not end here. The national park also boosts a proud mention in the celebrated bookof 1894, ‘The Jungle Book’, by Rudyard Kipling. It is also claimed that most characters in the book is inspired by the wide variety of wildlife found here. Hence, the ‘Mowgli Pench Sanctuary’, named after the protagonist of the novel, is a tribute paid to the legendary book and its essence.

Tour Itinerary

India’s most exquisite and tranquil beats are treasured in the tips of the country. An adventure to the North and the Central parts of India is all you need to rediscover the joy in the millions of tiny things. With every element in the jungle at its natural best, to have a Safari here, is like to witness a thousand miracles, hence we at Mastodon Solstein, use this opportunity to the fullest, so that you relive the magic of the wild. Your North/Central Indian Safari is a package tour of 3 nights and 4days consisting of 6 Safaris.

DAY 1

Your most-awaited tour begins in (place) at the celebrated (airport/railway station) after which we travel by road for around 2-3 hours to reach the destination. Hot and steaming freshly prepared lunch will be served in the camp. After a heart-filling sumptuous lunch, we head to the Safari at around 3.30pm in the noon and experience the wild, till about 6.30pm in the evening. Beverages like Tea/coffee served after the Safari, Dinner served at night and the day is called off.

DAY 2/3

Early day, beginning at 5am in the morning with coffee/tea being served, followed by a morning Safari, basking under the just risen sun, at 6.30am. Safari ends at 9.30am as we head back to the camp for delicious breakfast and refreshments. Post breakfast, you could choose to power nap or bird watch around the camp. Lunch served at 1.30 pm in the noon following which, a Safari at 3.30pm, and back to camp at 6.30pm in the evening. Mid-evening refreshments; dinner at 8.30pm and the day ends.

DAY 4

Wake-up call at 5am, your final Safari , is scheduled between 6.30am to 9.30am. Back to camp for breakfast and check out at 11am. Thus, successfully completing your wildlife experience in the Indian soil, carrying with you tons of memories and a pinch of star dust. (NOTE- Beverages like coffee and tea will be served before and after every Safari)

In general, we do not give refunds for cancellations of tours, as our guides have specifically held their availability for a tour – we believe that their time is valuable. In the case of any health issues, travel delays or stormy weather, we will do our best to reschedule a tour.

50% of the actual cost will be refunded if the cancelled 45 days prior to the travel date.

25% of the actual cost will be refunded if canceled 30 days prior to the travel date.

No refund will be given if canceled within 30 days.
